Im sure lots of you suppose a haircut would be good for me, and it should be shorter and yada yada. but still, its more complicated than that some how...
see its like this, in a way i want to get my hair cut, see what ppl say, and stuff like that, but i dont want my hair to be short, i like the feeling of long hair better, the look of it isn't half to bad neither. plus i ordered a bluetooth earpiece, that will stream music,(its coming from Hong Kong) and with it i would have the ability to listen to music, and nobody would really know about it. whether it be at work or at school, although as far as i know where allowed to have music at work so long as it is only in one ear, being as its just an earpiece, it would be just the one ear anyways.. either way though, i was talking to my buddy jon, he told of how he used to have longer hair, but his parents always made him keep it short, now to my understanding it wasn't as long as mine is now.. but yeah, and its funny cause i saw him later that day, and yup, his hair was cut again... all in all im neutral about the whole deal, so i try to take feedback from everybody else, jon is basically where it wouldn't make much different if i did or didn't. my buddies kirby and scotty both tell me i should keep it. other than that i haven't gotten much feedback, im not sure but i think cadi thinks i should cut it, and taniesha as well.
if i did cut it it would probably just be in half or something...
big problem about haircuts with me is im hardly recognizable afterwards... last year when it was cut lots of ppl thought i was a new kid...
i dont wan't to go through my "first day of school" in duchesne again. lol. so yeah, there it is, my thoughts all in all.

First of all, you are the one that said over and over again that once you got the picture taken and receiver the license in the mail that you would in fact get your hair cut. You are the one that made the statements so I am not to sure why it is that feel you need input on something that you already agreed to do. Second, if you noticed what you wrote, it is the girls (the same one's that you like somewhat) that say get it cut. Who are you trying to impress, your buddies or the girls??? In the end its up to you but the input that I am giving is for you to do what you said and cut it, and then in the future be careful what you say.
Other than your own opinion tho only one you should worry about is that of your parents, or in your case dad. As long as you are in his house he makes the rules. If he is fine with it and you like it go long. As for me and my house I prefer short. I have always liked my hair shorter and think it looks better. After joining the Air Force and having it cut even shorter (not by choice) I found I like it even shorter than I previously had. (not as short as in BMT though) So now I get it cut shorter and more often than before.
Oh, don't ask me, Sam. I'm just your dopey, opinionated older sister! But I do think you'd look great with a nice clean-cut look. And I hate to recommend that no matter how long your hair is, don't sneak music into your ear at school! Pay attention! (See, I knew you really didn't want my advice).
I've always been partal to short hair myself. And I'm glad Alison made the comment about not listening to music at school because I was gonna have to say something.
Samuel, you know where I stand on the haircut issue. As Susannah said, you are the one who said that you would get it cut once you had your drivers license, so follow through with what you say you are going to do. Regardless of whether you think it changes your looks that drastically, you still look lots better with the short hair and it never looks all messy and stringy the way it does when it's long. The fact that the girls like it short should tell you all you need to know.
what i say to everyone is my haircut will happen in due time, and it will be cut before anyone (other than those who live with me) sees me. as i mentioned before, im waiting on something, and ill post of it when my hair is cut.
